Position Overview
As a Heat Exchanger Design and Development Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimising heat exchanger systems for liquid cooling solutions in data centre applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure the highest performance, efficiency, and sustainability of cooling technologies.
️Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop : Create innovative heat exchanger designs tailored for liquid cooling applications, focusing on performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Testing and Validation : Conduct performance analysis and validation of heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Simulation and Optimisation : Use advanced simulation tools to model thermal and fluid dynamics, refining designs for optimal performance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, R&D teams, and manufacturing teams to integrate heat exchanger systems into broader cooling solutions.
- Sustainability : Develop designs that align with sustainability initiatives, reducing carbon footprints and operational costs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies, incorporating best practices and innovative methods into product development.
✅What you need to bring to this role:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in heat exchanger design, development, or a related role, preferably in HVAC, liquid cooling, or thermal management.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of thermal systems, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Tools: Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools like ANSYS, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a hands-on approach to testing and prototyping.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
